Clos des Grillières is located in Montcherand, at the entrance of the Orbe Gorges, within the Côtes de l’Orbe appellation. Run by the Nicole family for several generations, the estate covers 2.5 hectares of south-facing vineyards.
Its gravelly soil and relatively dry climate produce intensely fruity wines, with red grape varieties thriving particularly well. The estate cultivates Chasselas, Chardonnay, Gamay, Pinot Noir, Gamaret, Garanoir, Merlot and Divico.
The wine cellar is open every Saturday from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Philippe and Franck look forward to welcoming visitors for a friendly tasting experience.
