The vineyard of Château de Vullierens dates back to the 16th century, when the first vines were planted at the foot of the castle. Initially intended for private consumption, it gradually evolved into a fully structured wine estate in the 2000s, complemented by a distinctive wine tourism offering.
Today, the 7-hectare vineyard is cultivated biodynamically (Demeter certified), and its six wines carry the Bio-Bourgeon label. This approach combines respect for the terroir, high quality standards and innovation, notably reflected in the creation of a handcrafted Grape Ale made with Chasselas must.
The Château also offers a range of wine tourism experiences, including private tastings, food and wine pairings, gourmet gatherings and themed events, all set in a historic and authentic environment.
